Firehall Open House

Coquitlam Fire/Rescue kicked off Fire Prevention Week by hosting an open house at the Mariner Fire Station on Mariner Way. Local residents and their families stopped by and enjoyed the open house which included: fire safety information stations, a display of fire trucks, opportunities to meet firefighters, an auto extrication demonstration and interactive displays. This informative event was a great way to remind people of the importance of fire safety. Have you changed your smoke alarm battery lately? For more information please visit www.coquitlam.ca
