Remembrance Day

The heavy rain stopped just before the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month for the Remembrance Day services across the Tri-Cities. Residents of all ages surrounded the Blue Mountain Cenotaph in a show of unity to commemorate and remember the sacrifice of members of the armed forces and civilians since the First World War. After a moment of silence, the laying of wreaths and the placing of poppies on the cenotaph attendees followed the ceremonial parade to the Coquitlam RCL 263 to conclude the service.
